School History

Miami Carol City Senior High School — Home of the Chiefs

Established in 1963, located at 3301 Miami Gardens Drive, Miami Gardens, FL 33056, Miami Carol City Senior High School has been a cornerstone of the community for over six decades. The school’s commitment to excellence has produced generations of leaders, athletes, and innovators who continue to make their mark on the world.

The Legend of Chief Hall

“Chief Hall” is named after a hallway at Carol City High where students gathered to socialize between classes. It became a viral alumni Facebook page where former students reminisce, catch up, and connect—a digital gathering place for thousands of Chiefs spread across the nation. What started as a nostalgic online space has become a powerful symbol of school pride and community strength.

Chief Hall Festival — A Community Celebration

Since 2016, alumni have organized the Chief Hall Picnic (now Chief Hall Festival) to restore pride within the community. The event brings together thousands at Risco Park in Miami Gardens, creating an annual celebration of school spirit and community bonds that transcend generations. The festival has grown into one of the most anticipated events in South Florida, uniting alumni, families, and community members in celebration of the Chiefs legacy.

Our Mission

"Our mission is to support the youth so they can continue to foster the legacy that so many have put their blood, sweat, and tears into."

Founded by alumni who believe in the power of community, Chief Hall Association, Inc. a 501 C3, is dedicated to positive change in Miami Gardens. We honor the legacy of those who came before us while investing in the future of the Chiefs. Together, we build a stronger community and create opportunities for the next generation.
